As we begin the new year, Expedition Behavioral Education celebrates a strong first trimester across Olympic Academy, Summit Academy, and Pathfinder Services. Students have made meaningful progress, supported by dedicated staff and strong family partnerships. This winter includes staff learning events focused on trauma-informed, relationship-centered practices, an on-site dental clinic on February 20, and important schedule reminders. We appreciate families’ continued collaboration as we support student growth and well-being in 2026.

Expedition Behavioral Education is finishing the year with strong district partnership and growing enrollment across Olympic Academy, Summit Academy, and Pathfinder Services. This update highlights mid-year student data review, successful transitions back to home districts, regional professional learning, and the launch of a shared FileMaker system for easier access to student records. Community Resource Nights continued to build local connections, and teams are now planning ahead for 2026 with consultation, training, and program design support available this winter.

Our fall update shares highlights from across Olympic Academy, Summit Academy, and Pathfinder Services, including improved learning spaces, student celebrations, and the announcement of the Community Resource Fair with the Lewis County Autism Coalition. You’ll also meet program school psychologist Rana Reason and learn how she supports students and families through evaluations, transitions, and connections to community resources. The update includes key calendar changes, family reminders, a simple breakfast recipe, and tips for building positive self-talk as the first trimester wraps up.

This back-to-school edition welcomes families to the 2025–26 year at Olympic Academy, Summit Academy, and Pathfinder Services, and introduces front office coordinator Heather Wilkins. Families will find details about the Community Resource Fair with the Lewis County Autism Coalition, medication and immunization reminders, and guidance on dietary needs. The update also includes early-release dates, attendance tips, transportation contacts, and ways to stay connected as the year gets underway.
